We Are Family — Fluro Pink A/P (Misprint)
The Print
This is one of those prints that just hits you. Screaming fluro pink background, big chunky 3D block letters spelling out We Are Family, polka-dot fills in cool dusty blue, mint green shadows, heavy black outlines — the whole thing is bold, joyful and completely unapologetic. It fills the paper. It demands a wall. It's the kind of piece you hang and your whole room changes energy.
The lettering has that seaside fairground marquee feel — like the letters themselves are lit up from the inside. The white dot pattern running through each letter adds texture and depth, and those chunky 3D sides give every character real weight and presence. Against that fluro pink it just pops. Genuinely one of the most visually exciting colourways we've pulled.
What's an A/P and Why Does it Matter?
A/P stands for Artist's Proof. These are prints pulled during the print run — outside the numbered edition — and they're rare. Traditionally they exist so the artist can check the layers are registering correctly and the colours are reading right. Some A/Ps are perfect. Some have small variations or imperfections that make them different from the edition. Either way, they're part of the story of how the print got made.
This one is marked as a misprint, which means something happened during the pull. There is a slight scuff in the top right corner — please look closely at the photos before buying. That's the honest truth of it. If you're buying for a pristine collection, check the images carefully. If you're buying because you love the print and you understand that hand-pulled work carries marks of its making, then this is a genuinely special piece at a genuinely accessible price.
The Details
This is a 4 layer screenprint measuring 300x175mm. Each layer was hand-pulled, meaning every colour you see went through the press separately. That's what gives it the density and richness you can see in the image. Postage and packaging is included in the price.
Who is this print for? Collectors who understand that hand-pulled means unrepeatable. Once it's gone, it's gone. Own a piece of British screenprint craft.
