“After starting out with the popular disco is.. phrase back in 2018 I've gone through different phases of design and layout for this screen print. with this new reworking I have set the letters above a solid back ground to appear 3D with a drop shadow. By doing so the inclusion of a metallic hot foil stamp really feels like its jumping out at you! Feel the different textures of the emboss and screen printed layers as you run your hands over the paper and the shine shimmers in different colours as you walk past. The metallic letters lend themselves well to the scene back in the day and the feeling of the phrase take you back to the days of disco”
