JUST fluro (misprint)

JUST fluro (misprint) is one of those prints that came out of the studio with a story already attached. Bold, unapologetic, and absolutely electric in the flesh, this is the kind of work that stops you mid-scroll and does not let go.

The Print

This is a 3 layer screenprint measuring 300x175mm, pulled by hand in the studio. The composition is pure confidence: loose, expressive brush-style lettering spelling out JUST, a massive fluorescent pink heart crashing right through the centre of the letterforms, and the whole thing sitting on a blazing metallic gold background that catches light in a way no digital print ever could. The black ink is thick, gestural, alive. The hot pink fluro layer absolutely pops against that gold. It is loud in the best possible way.

The word, the heart, the colour. It all hits at once. There is no fussing about with it, no over-thinking. It just works.

The Misprint

Here is the honest bit. This one is a misprint, and that means it is leaving the studio with a small amount of damage in the top left corner where my nail got in the way during printing. It happens. Screenprinting is a physical process and sometimes the body gets involved whether you want it to or not. Please check the photos carefully before buying so you know exactly what you are getting. The damage is real, it is there, and the price reflects it.

What you are also getting, though, is a print that is numbered 54/100 and carries every bit of the energy and craft of the main edition. The misprint label does not change what this thing looks like on a wall. It still absolutely sings.
