JUST metallic pink hot foil — and this one is a misprint. That means it is one of a kind inside an already limited run, a print that sits outside the standard edition and carries something the perfect copies never could: a story written into the paper itself.
The image is bold and immediate. The word JUST is rendered in thick, loose brushstroke lettering — black, expressive, confident — wrapping itself around and through a large heart shape that sits dead centre of the composition. That heart is where the magic happens. It is printed in metallic pink hot foil leaf, and it catches the light in a way that flat ink simply cannot replicate. It shifts. It glows. It pulls your eye straight to it no matter how you angle the print.
Behind everything sits a rich, saturated yellow — the kind of yellow that feels almost electric, the kind that makes the black pop and the pink sing. A clean white border frames the whole thing, giving it room to breathe.
This is a 300x175mm three layer screenprint, hand-pulled and hand-foiled. Three layers means three separate passes through the press — yellow down first, then the black lettering, then the metallic pink foil applied to the heart. Each pass is a chance for something to shift, something to vary, something to become its own thing. That is the nature of the process and it is exactly what makes these prints interesting.
The misprint
There is a faded area to the top right of the yellow layer. It is visible. We are not hiding it. Please check the photos carefully before you buy — what you see is what you get, and in this case what you get is a print with character that no perfect copy can replicate. This is not a second. This is a document of process.
Numbered 33/100 in pencil. Postage and packaging is included in the price.
Who is this print for? Collectors who understand that hand-pulled means unrepeatable. Once it's gone, it's gone. Own a piece of British screenprint craft.
