Across this whole collection, it was never about showing you a perfect piece of artwork. The making of it was the art itself. The mindset required to get there, the deliberate return to something childlike, the computer turned off and the hands back on the screen. These works are the result of that explosion, and On a Plate for Two carries every bit of that energy in its surface.
The flowers here are bold and graphic, white petals ringed with hot pink, stacked and layered in a way that feels chaotic and completely intentional at the same time. Stems push downward in rich cobalt and deep green. The background fragments into smashed blocks of orange, red and blazing yellow beneath them. There is movement in this piece. There is joy.
Mounted on a found wooden board from the local community. Handmade birch float mount frame, 566x773mm, 30mm depth. Signed front and back. Certificate of authenticity included.
