The Print

Bold, loud, and unapologetically pop. A grinning portrait slapped onto a screaming yellow background, with Winner stamped across the bottom in heavy black ink. The face beams out of the composition with the kind of confidence that fills a room. Pink and lavender ink wash floods through the figure in vertical streaks, bleeding and pooling in a way that no edition print could ever replicate. There is an orange flash behind the head that catches you off guard. Everything about it feels alive, kinetic, slightly out of control in the best possible way.

The Misprint

Here is the honest part. This is a misprint, and that is the whole point. During the printing process the yellow layer picked up some damage. It is visible. It is real. It is documented in the photos, so please look at them carefully before you buy. What that damage also does is turn this print into something no clean edition ever gets to be — a genuine one-off original. The ink wash running through the image was added by hand, reacting to and working with the irregularities rather than hiding them. The result is something closer to a painting than a print.
