Some music doesn't just play — it grabs you by the shoulders and makes you move. Born To Boogie captures that moment when the beat drops and your body has no choice but to respond.

This is screenprinting as rhythm section. Five layers of ink, each one pulling the typography forward until the words practically vibrate off the paper. No subtle colour choices here — this piece commits fully to bold, unapologetic vibrancy. The kind of colours that match the energy of people who can't sit still when the music hits.

Twenty years of learning screenprint technique just to push it harder. Each layer builds the intensity, the way a great song builds from the first kick drum to the moment everyone's on the floor. The typography doesn't whisper — it shouts. Because some messages deserve to be heard over the noise.

Process:
Hand-pulled across five separate screens in my Kimpton studio. Each print pulled individually, no two exactly the same. The registration marks from each layer create their own rhythm across the paper surface.

Details:

  • 5-layer hand-pulled screenprint
  • Limited edition of 50

  • 300gsm Madrid Litho paper

The large square format gives the typography room to breathe and expand. This isn't wallpaper — it's a statement. The kind of piece that changes the energy of a room the moment you walk in.

Care:
Frame with UV-protective glass. Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture. The ink layers will reward proper care with decades of vibrancy.

This is for the people who understand that some art should make noise. Who know that the best creative spaces pulse with energy rather than whisper in corners. If you've ever felt music in your bones, this piece speaks your language.
