Some political moments demand full colour. Brexit wasn't a black and white decision — it was messy, complex, divisive. This screenprint reflects that chaos through CMYK process printing, layering cyan, magenta, yellow and black to build up the image dot by dot, just like the newspaper headlines that dominated 2016.

Brexit Wrecksit comes in three distinct expressions. The CMYK version uses traditional four-colour process — the same technique that printed those referendum campaign leaflets and morning-after front pages. The fluro pink edition strips it back to a single, aggressive colour that screams from the wall. The off-white variant takes a quieter approach, letting the image speak without the colour doing the shouting.

This is archive work — pulled years ago when the wound was fresh, before we knew how it would all pan out. Each print is hand-pulled on Oli's press in his Kimpton studio, the same village where he grew up watching Britain change around him. No digital printing, no shortcuts. Just squeegee, ink, and the physical act of making each impression by hand.

The title says it all. Brexit Wrecksit. No subtlety, no diplomatic language. This is direct response art from someone who watched a country tear itself apart over a question that should never have been asked. It's angry work, but it's also honest work — the kind of political statement that can only come from an artist who pays for his own materials and answers to no one but himself.

This isn't gallery art. It's not meant to match your sofa or complement your colour scheme. It's meant to remind you of a moment when everything changed, when the morning after felt different from the night before. For anyone who lived through 2016 and still feels the aftershock. For collectors who want political art that doesn't pull its punches.
