Some prints hit you with subtlety. This one grabs you by the collar.
Juicy — a 5-layer CMYK dither screenprint that comes in two versions: one with hand-applied gold leaf hearts for collectors who want the full treatment, and one without for those who prefer their colour straight up. Both carry the same punch — summer vibes arriving right on time for winter.
The dither technique breaks everything down into dots and chaos, like seeing the world through heat haze. Each layer of cyan, magenta, yellow and black builds up the intensity until you're looking at something that vibrates off the wall. This isn't smooth gradients and perfect registration — it's deliberately rough, deliberately alive.
For the gold leaf version, every heart gets individual attention. Real gold leaf, applied by hand whilst the ink's still tacky. No two prints are identical because no two applications are identical. The leaf catches light differently on each piece, shifting between warm glow and bright flash as you move around it.
Technical breakdown: 5-layer CMYK dither hand-pulled screenprint on 350gsm Cairn recycled paper. B2 size (700 x 500mm). Limited edition of 10 pieces, each signed, numbered, and embossed. Printed in the studio, finished by hand.
The story: Designed back in March, this one sat on the shelf for months before it was ready to print. Typical timing — bringing out the summer vibes just as winter hits. Sometimes the best work needs time to breathe before it's ready. The image itself is pure celebration — colour for the sake of colour, energy for the sake of energy.
The gloss finish amplifies everything. Under gallery lighting or morning sun streaming through your kitchen window, the colours shift and dance. This is work that changes throughout the day.
Care instructions: Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture. Frame with UV-protective glass for longevity. The gold leaf (where applied) is durable but shouldn't be touched directly.
Shipping: Wrapped in acid-free tissue and shipped worldwide in a sturdy cardboard tube.
This is for people who aren't afraid of colour. Who understand that sometimes a print's job is to wake up a room, not whisper in the corner. Whether you choose gold leaf hearts or pure ink, you're getting something that refuses to be ignored.
